The desire for an anti-Christ or Bhairava figure is a sign of cult like desires or pagan thinking. Western innovation doesn’t bode well under that school of thought and its desires for caste systems. Seek moral truth and arguments in favor. The anti-thinking and paganism only signals a lack of intellectual rigor.

The Greek god Zeus is notoriously immoral. In most pagan traditions, being a god is a pass to being immoral. In the broad Judeo-Christian, Platonian and Zoroastrian tradition God is the ultimate source of morality and good. This is an incredibly profound shift as it steers elites away from the arbitrary whims of the high priests and rulers. It offers an incredibly elegant idea if you will to organize around and combat the inevitable social entropy as a result of the arbitrary nature of paganism.

I argue against Effective Altruism because in essence it’s post-rationalized paganism justified with expected values. It devalues millenia of philosophical thought and unfortunately has a frontier AI lab which makes it much more influential that it should be. I desire no machines of loving grace because they could never be a source of love and grace. I know better than to revert back to paganism. Deus ex machina always was and always will be a smokescreen for cult like endeavors.
